Marketing Content Writer

Role: Marketing Content Writer

The focus of this role is to develop and create well-researched and accurate content for print, digital media, and product descriptions on tight deadlines in order to expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads, along with at least two years of experience writing for a B2B audience. Comfortability working in a fast paced environment with adherence to company style guides and policies is required. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. He/She must be able to prioritize effectively, manage time efficiently, and be self-motivated and self-directed. Excellent writing, solid interpersonal skills and confident communication with all levels of management is expected. Hands-on experience with Pardot and SEO knowledge is a non-negotiable skill set that candidates must have in order to be considered.

This role also includes serving as a member of the Corporate Team, including monthly calls and scheduled on-site meetings, ad-hoc meetings, and serving as an example of the company’s mission: BELAY exists to glorify God by providing solutions that equip our clients with the confidence to climb higher.

2.  Content Writing

  • Create content that drives traffic, engagement, and leads using BELAY’s voice and tone.
  • Write content for our service lines and thought leadership topics for multiple platforms (email, websites, blogs, articles, social updates, case studies, guides, white papers, etc.)
  • Create content for our internal team to support department goals and initiatives.
  • Interview sources and Subject Matter Experts to collect content.
  • Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original.
  • Self-edit and proofread content produced by other team members and departments.
  • Ensure all-around consistency on messaging across platforms.
  • Use SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
  • Strategize and create campaign flows and content for our digital marketing efforts.

3.  Marketing

  • Use Pardot to create campaigns and email templates to launch content.
  • Facilitate and join recurring project meeting calls at a cadence dictated by the activities and needs of the project.
  • Participate in brainstorming and collaboration sessions with the marketing team for new ideas and strategies.
  • Actively manage and promote our blog, and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms.
